Are you considering becoming a volunteer tutor with STAR Adult Literacy but would like to know more? Have you completed your online training but still need to meet with us in person to finish up and select a student?
If so, we invite you to attend our monthly Lunch and Learn informational meetings.
This is a no-commitment way to learn more about our program, our expectations, our curriculum, and more! Meet with other prospective or new tutors as well as experienced tutors and learn first hand from them what it's like to be a tutor in our program.
And, enjoy a lunch on us!
All Lunch and Learns will be held at the STAR/ROE #17 Office at 201 E Grove Street, Third Floor, Bloomington.
If you decide to become a tutor, or have already completed the online training, your time at the Lunch and Learn counts towards your total training hours.
